The Audio Fire Fighter is placed near one of the existing high voltage smoke detectors. It is designed to detect the UL listed Fire Alarm sound from the device and report the signal to dispatch the fire department. This is a great way to get full smoke coverage with only one device, because your existing smokes should be wired in tandem.
